Family Stitchery
A few years ago, we sent my cousins out on missions - and when we did we (my family) would stitch them a cute little look-a-like missionary complete with suit and tie and the name of their mission on the top. Then one day while walking through Pine Needles in Gardner Village we had the thought "If we can stitch 1 person why not a whole family?" And so we did! And they have hung on the walls of our homes for years. My aunt owns a scrapbook store and we would sometimes blow up the cute stamps that would come in and stitch those as well. The inspiration for the family stitcheries came from the Me and My Big Ideas line. Those cute little people have been out for years and years and I love them! They have so many different varieties and it is fun to see what new things they come up with. Since the people only really come in stickers - we drew our own people - and here is how they turned out! We have had the same pattern for years - we just switch the colors and the hairstyles and update them every so often. I think they turn out so cute and have loved my mom's for a long time!
