Candy Bouquet
I love making and giving away candy bouquets.
They are such a fun and different gift to give and receive.

Select a variety (12) of candy and candy bars.
Tape the candy to thin dowels.
Cover with clear or colored cellophane and tie with a bow of your choice.
Place a piece of foam in a vase - fit it to the vase.
Insert the 12 dowels with candy into the foam at differing heights.
Add different colored tissue paper for a final touch.
Personally deliver and watch your friend light up!

Mock Asphalt Pie
I like the Asphalt Pie from Wingers,
But I LOVE my version of it!
Oreo Pie Crust (sometimes I make it, sometimes I buy it)
1/2 Gallon of Mint Ice Cream
1/2 Gallon of Mint Ice Cream
Caramel
Oreos
Whipping Cream
Soften the mint ice cream and scope it into the oreo pie crust. Then take the caramel, warm it up, and pour it all over the ice cream. It will seep into the ice cream. Put in freezer until frozen - about an hour or so. Cut slices and top with more caramel, oreos and whipping cream!
Enjoy!

Soccer Nursing Cover and Burpies

I love the cute little nursing covers,
but I didn't want to pay $30 for one so I made my own.
My husband loves soccer and since we had a little boy -
this is the fabric that he picked out.
I love how it turned out!
I mostly followed the directions found on Little Birdie Secrets
but added a few modifications of my own.

Dresser
For my little tykes room I wanted a dresser that matched his crib -
- only I didn't want to pay the price for it.
I started searching on-line for a dresser that I could refinish.
After weeks and weeks of looking, I finally found this bad boy:
I bought some espresso stain from home depot.
Used some polyurethane we already had
Bought some handles and turned that bad boy-
into this beauty:

And I love it!
