Super Easy Peasy Doughnuts

Super Easy Peasy Doughnuts!

or is it donuts?

Either way - these will the be easiest doughnuts you will ever make!
And so yummy too!

First off start of with premade biscuits.

Take you fingers and stretch them out a little bit and make a hole.
If you really want to go all out, you can punch out a hole and make doughnut holes - since I was going for easy - I didn't bother.

Fry up the dough... until both sides are golden brown.

The dough will poof up in the oil.

Using the dough I did, I came out with 10 perfect little doughnuts!

Now it's time to glaze!

You will need:
 1/4 cup milk
1 tsp. vanilla
and 2 cups powdered sugar

Mix the milk and vanilla together in a pan on low heat until warm.

Add in the powdered sugar and whisk until blended.
I let it boil up a little bit and then remove it from the heat.

Dip your finished doughnuts in your glaze -

Set aside to dry for about 5 minutes and enjoy!

You can do all different kinds of glazes or add chocolate or maple frosting if you would like! Anyway you do it - they are so yummy!

P.S. Remember that the Charm Necklace Giveaway closes tomorrow night so hurry and get your entries in!

My MIL makes these but we just throw them in powder sugar. I love these, but I try to limit myself.

I make these too..they are great. I use a water bottle cap to cut out the holes (my kids like those best). I've never tried to glaze them though - looks yummy.
I usually dump some cinnamon and sugar in a paper bag and drop the hot donuts in and shake away.
Gosh..I'm getting hungry for some right now :)

I don't usually like donuts much, but this made me want some. Guess I better go get some biscuit dough!

We have been making these since I was little. My Dad usually just made them and dumped them in a bag with sugar and shook. I make them now for my kids but use the glaze (they taste much better - and everyone seems to like them with the glaze). Sometimes I will make a bowl of glaze and then split it in 1/2 and add chocolate syrup to 1/2 of it and dip the tops. You can also make donut holes by cutting the biscuits in 4 and then rolling them into a ball. The kids love those.
