Easter Egg Specimen Art

After sharing 27 cute Easter ideas to get you excited about Easter, I knew it was time to get making some cute Easter d├ęcor for my house and first up was this darling Easter Egg Specimen Art.

I was inspired by this pin on pinterest and think it turned out so cute!

I used my Silhouette to cut out the egg shapes – they are 1.5” tall. Then I figured out how I wanted to arrange the eggs on a white piece of cardstock- that was the hardest part for me – what color by what color and should I do this solid by this glitter paper? After I had it all figured out, I used pop dots to raise the eggs a little bit and stuck them on! I reused the frame from this project and added a little ribbon to give it a pop of color!

At first I was just going to use all glitter paper but then decided to mix it up a bit with a solid and a pattern and I am so happy that I did – It turned out better than I thought it would and I love it! The bright colors are so fun!

Adorable! I have a Silhouette, too and this would be a great way to use all the fun paper that I have accumulated recently. Thanks for sharing your lovely photos (and awesome frame).
